Karl Sheridan - Monster Valley
Director/Producer
Karl Sheridan is a prolific creative entrepreneur who has been active in Tāmaki Makaurau’s creative scene for over 10 years.
After five years working in film, Karl saw a gap in the market for slick low-budget content. Since then, his independent arts and content agency Monster Valley has shot over 1,500 videos, taken hundreds of thousands of photographs, hung over 600 artworks and held over 200 events, with corporate collaborations such as Air New Zealand, Westpac and Countdown.
Karl has connected emerging artists, across multiple practices, with the private sector. Over the years, Karl has transformed Monster Valley into an agency that has also supported the arts scene through over 200 events, where he’s displayed hundreds of artworks.
He is an ART Venture Award recipient and in 2018 was named Idealog’s Most Innovative Leader.
Tonia Reid - Greenhouse Creative
Brand Strategist & Website Designer
Tonia Reid is a brand strategist and website designer based in Auckland who designs with a carefully considered blend of purpose and creativity.
Tonia started her business, Crisp Graphics, in 2003 and has never looked back. Rebranding to become Greenhouse Creative in 2020, she’s done everything from running brand strategy group workshops to packaging and retail design, to creating content for award-winning websites and digital marketing campaigns. Tonia is a house-plant obsessed, green-fingered, designer who is seriously passionate about helping businesses to grow.
Monica Shepherd - Mark My Words
Copywriter
Monica is a copywriter and messaging strategist who helps purpose-driven brands craft digital content and brand stories that attract their ideal clients. She loves the power that language has to connect, to inspire action or change, to make people think, to ignite an emotion or to take someone on a journey.
Monica started Mark My Words in 2010, and since then has worked with both B2B and B2C organisations, from tech start-ups to global corporations, while navigating the ups and downs of running and growing a small business.
Walter Neilands - ScreenGrab Marketing
TV Guru
Walter Neilands is a highly experienced TV host and personality (mostly known for Sticky TV and Dancing With the Stars), and the founder of ScreenGrab marketing, his business which specialises in content creation and customer attraction for SMEs and large corporations.
ScreenGrab is in its second year and Walter loves the thrill of learning how to advance his business and serve the community! He's fearless and full of blaze energy and knows there's so much more to learn! Be inspired by Walter's drive and determination!
Lesley Webb - City View Studio
Graphic Designer
With experience spanning almost 20 years in the print and advertising industry, Lesley has held roles in graphic design, production and client service here in Auckland. She brings practical production knowledge and project management skills to help design projects go smoothly from concept to delivery.
Lesley moved to full-time freelance work in 2015, helping busy marketers and business owners manage the overflow of design work. She is based in the foothills of the beautiful Waitakere Ranges, west of Auckland city.
Robert Tighe - Storybud

Robert Tighe has been working with words for almost 20 years, initially as an award-winning journalist and more recently as a content writer and ghostwriter. His first book ‘Zero to 60’ went to number one on the New Zealand non-fiction bestsellers list.
He was the New Zealand Country Editor for The Red Bulletin, a global, adventure lifestyle magazine published by Red Bull, before he started his own business helping businesses tell better stories.
